As a Mission Team focused on Disaster Recovery, since 2005 L4N efforts has partnered with a number of Methodist Relief organizations, including the following: 

  A faith based organization of the United Methodist Church, helping families recover from Hurricanes Ike and Rita.

   Texas Conference Begins Organizing for Long Term Response in Galveston

The Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church supports the Hurricane Katrina, Rita and Ike Disaster Recovery programs in southeast Texas.

Six people from Spring Valley UMC traveled to Mauriceville, Texas (total 17 people) and removed one complete roof, much of the decking and replaced it all in one very long day. From Spring Valley were Susan Hanchey and her grandson, Nick, Betty Reichel, Ted Butler, Mike Hensley, and Tedd Brown.
