L4N reaches out to our southeast Texas neighbors by re-roofing homes and, in doing so, helping to re-build lives affected by Gulf Coast disasters. L4N is predominantly Methodists active in the North Texas Conference, UMVIM and UMCOR.

Laboring in Mission to Neighbors in Need

August, September and October Dates!!
May 14th L4N put TWO roofs on the WillieBuild houses which are a Dallas Habitat for Humanity initiative. The following week of May 18th John Gunter and Jackson Harkey accompanied NTCUMC Bishop Earl Bledsoe, his wife Leslie and his cabinet to mission work in southeast Texas.
Many of our neighbors' homes on the Gulf Coast still have damage from Hurricane Rita, a violent storm in 2005, and also from Hurricane Ike last fall. There are still great roofing opportunities!

    June 12 - 14th tentatively filled by volunteers from St Luke "Community" UMC and Mabank UMC
    August 14 - 16th                        September 11 - 13th                    October 23 - 25th
Experience is not necessary - learn to work as a team to remove old shingles and install new shingles.
